CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan lays the foundation of Rs 116.78 crore irrigation project at Beohari

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today laid the foundation of Hirwar Micro Irrigation Project worth Rs 116.78 crore in Beohari of Shahdol district. He said that 49 villages of the project will get the benefit of irrigation facility through the project. CM Chouhan said that in the coming season, paddy procurement will be made at a rate of Rs. 1700 per quintal. The Union Government-run Ayushman Bharat Yojana will provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to the poor families in the state.


CM Chouhan announced that post-graduation classes will be started in Beohari College from the coming academic session, Bhanni Micro Irrigation Project will be granted approval, sub-station of 133 K.V. will be set up at Kanadi village, tehsil status will be given to Budwa and a bridge will be constructed at Vijaysota village.

Sharing information about the public welfare schemes of the state government, CM Chouhan said that under the demand of the citizens, the water of Bansagar has reached Beohari city. He said that Sambal Yojana will prove to be a milestone in alleviating poverty from the state. No poor will remain deprived of electricity in the state under Saubhagya Yojana. By the end of this year, all houses will have power supply.
