Jabalpur District becomes completely electrified

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated the Prime Minister’s Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana- Saubhagya completed at a cost of Rs 18.28 crore at the tribal convention held in TFRI, Neemkheda of Jabalpur on the Veerangana Rani Durgavati Balidan Divas. He thereafter declared the Jabalpur district as 100 per cent electrified. A total 40 thousand 299 houses in Jabalpur district have been illuminated with the Saubhagya scheme.

Benefits distributed to people

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan symbolically distributed personal forest rights letters and community forest rights patta for the construction of sports ground in Gadhegorakhpur village and Mokshadham in Bareli Pathar village.

It may be noted that a total of 588 personal and community forest rights patta were issued and tribals dwelling on forest land were made landowners at the tribal convention. Similarly, smart cards were distributed to 25 thousand Scheduled Tribe families under Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojana and domestic gas connections to 11 thousand 16 women under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Similarly, water bottles, sarees and charan padukas were distributed to nearly 15 thousand tendu patta collectors.
