I will fulfil my resolution of eradicating poverty: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed a huge gathering at Jankalyan Yojana Programme in Alhadakheri of Sehore district on June 20. Speaking at the programme he said that the state government is working to eradicate poverty from Madhya Pradesh and will fulfil this resolution under all circumstances. He said that it is the Govt’s priority to remove difficulties from the lives of the poor. He mentioned that this scheme has been introduced to bring a positive change in the lives of labourers, needy and destitute people of unorganized sector.

Sharing detail information about the benefits of the Sambal Yojana, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state budget will now be prepared by prioritising programmes for upliftment of the poor. The state government will make efforts to prosper the poor families. Every eligible beneficiary of the state will be benefitted under Sambal scheme. Committees are being set up at ward and gram panchayat-levels to ensure better execution of the scheme.

The Chief Minister announced that complete irrigation facility will be ensured in Sehore district by linking Parvati River with the Narmada and mentioned that the work of linking both rivers is in progress. He inaugurated and dedicated 441 construction works of the cost of Rs 83 crore 16 lakhs in Sehore district. He distributed ex-gratia amount of Rs 64 lakh to 27 eligible beneficiaries registered under Sambal Yojana on the occasion. CM Chouhan also distributed benefits to eligible beneficiaries under various welfare schemes in the convention.

District in-charge minister Shri Rampal Singh, Member of Parliament Shri Manohar Untwal, Chairman of Forest Development Corporation Shri Gurprasad Sharma, Chairman, Labour Welfare Board, Shri Sultan Singh Shekhawat, Shri Sunil Maheshwari, MLA, Shri Ranjit Singh Gunwan, District Panchayat President Smt Urmila Maretha , Municipal Council President, Smt Amita Jaspal Arora, CCB Chairman Smt Usha Ramesh Saxena, other public representative and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
