Action to be taken against elements who hinder procurement – CM

Discussing the contemporary issues with divisional commissioners and collectors during video conferencing, the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today gave necessary instructions to them. Referring to the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana and the Mukhya Mantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana, he said that within one week the amount should be deposited in the accounts of all the farmers, where there was delay due to technical reasons. He said that the delay in payment at any level is not correct.

Collectors congratulated for wheat procurement without hindrance

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated the district collectors and concerned departmental staff while expressing happiness on procurement of wheat without any interruption. He said that under special circumstances, the purchase centers can be established along with their villages for the convenience of the farmers. Transportation arrangements can also be made to bring their produce when the number of farmers is reduced. He said that there should be no unnecessary delays in weighing at the purchasing centers. The government's priority is to give more help to the farmers.

The Chief Minister told the collectors to be extra vigilant about the messages circulated on the social media with the intent of misleading farmers and intervening in the purchase system. Strict action will be taken against those who hinder steps taken in the interest of farmers besides steps taken for the purchase system.

Shramik Kalyan Sammelan to be organized in districts

Discussing about Chief Minister Unorganized Sector Labourers Welfare Scheme, Shri Chouhan told the collectors that this is a very ambitious plan of the government. All collectors should prepare for the Shramik Kalyan Sammelans in their respective districts. The list of registered workers will be read in the Gram Sabhas on May 2. This list will be read in ward assemblies in cities.

He instructed the collectors to complete all the formalities for giving land pattas to landless, homeless poor labourers. He clarified that all documents in the registration of the workers will be considered self certified so that they do not have to worry. He said that eligible tribal families in the adivasi-dominated districts should get their forest rights pattas in any case.

Keep strategy ready to tackle potable water crisis

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed collectors to keep themselves ready with their full capacity to tackle potable water crisis, emerged from the low rains. Prepare strategy to provide water through transportation, where there is a serious crisis of water.

Moreover, Shri Chouhan gave directives to make neccessary arrangements in connection to the activities and programmes under the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan of the Union government. He informed that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address entire country from village Rampur of Mandla district on Panchayat Raj Diwas on April 24. Arrangements for live relay has been made for his address. Ensure arrangements to watch live relay in all the Jila Janpads, gram panchayats and gram sabhas. Shri Chouhan further informed that Ayushman Bharat programme will be organised on April 30. Health check up camps will be organised and activities related to health literacy will be conducted under the programme. Delibrations will be held in special meetings of gram sabhas in connection to double farmers’ income on Kisan Kalyan Diwas on May 2. Ajivika and Koushal Vikas Diwas will be observed on May 5.
