State government to pay fees of merit holders upto 1.5 lakh in Jee Main exam: CM

Haryana Governor Professor Kaptan Singh Solanki today honoured Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with the Subhash Chandra Bose Leadership Award at Motilal Nehru Stadium. The programme was organised under the aegis of Nagar Palik Nigam Bhopal. Union Minister for Rural Development Shri Narendra Singh Tomar presided over. CM Chouhan spoke to youths also during the programme.

Chief Minister Chouhan announced to provide benefit of Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Chattravritti Yojana to the merit holders up to 1.5 lakh in the JEE Main Engineering Entrance Exam. He said that the state government will pay the fee for engineering education of the selected students. Next year career counselling cells will be constituted at High School and Higher Secondary level. The Vidyarthi Chaatra Panchayat will be organised soon. The expenses of the treatment of students injured in accidents will be incurred by the educational institution or the Mukhya Mantri Swechhanudan. In case of death of the students the dependent family will be taken care of. TO provide better opportunities for placement, the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and state government will make arrangements to invite swadeshi companies besides multi-national companies. Taking into account the large number of candidates in JEE Exam, it was assured that concerned departments will increase number of exam centres so that students do not have to go far to appear for the exam.

The Chief Minister said that a Youth Empowerment Mission will be formed for swarozgar and skill upgradation of youths. Efforts will be made to tie up with good institutes to increase opportunities for internship and for providing opportunities in new enterprises. IT Parks are being introduced. Very soon new employment opportunities will be generated. During the Samvad with youths, the Chief Minister gave information about employment schemes, venture capital fund for new ideas, Rs 600 crore Global Skill Park, arrangement of training courses according to demand for skilled workforce and also replied to queries related to students, their school life and personal life.

CM Chouhan said that he would make efforts with his heart and determination for establishing Madhya Pradesh as best contributory for making India as Vishwa Guru and being right on the trust of people of the state. He said that the people of the state and the government together have taken resolution for the best contribution in the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for making glorious, prosperous India. He said that during 12 years, he has run the government working for the common man. There is a long way to go. The more efforts have to be made for making the state best in the world. Citizens are administered resolution for performing the best of their duties. 

Governor of Haryana Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki said that the country had moved towards the dream of freedom fighters. In this direction, Madhya Pradesh has become the leading state under leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Work is underway with rapid pace on the vision of New India. States have important roles in clean, healthy, capable, prosperous, safe and educated New India. The state will become happy and prosperous then only a new India will be formed. Entire India will be cleaned on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Everyone will have a house on completion of 75 years of the Independence. India will be recognised as a Vishwa Guru on the world map inthe 100th year of the Independence. He said that the big dream of the remaking of Madhya Pradesh was seen in the beginning of the 21st century, responsibility for materialising this was entrusted to Chief Minister Chouhan, because of such great work requires devotion, dedication, sensitive leadership and team. CM Chouhan has done such a thing in 12 years that there is no challenge left to him. Quoting rural beliefs, he said that the possession continued for 12 years becomes permanent. Describing CM Chouhan's work as incomparable he said that since he has remained the same as till now since he became chief minister. Mentioning Swami Vivekananda's declaration, he said that 21st Century will be of India. He congratulated municipal corporation for organizing of Samman Samaroh as a unique idea.

Union Minister for Rural Development, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has successfully made efforts to fulfill the dreams of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay. He had concerns for all round eforts and made honest efforts. His personality is sensitive. Madhya Pradesh was known as BIMARU, backward and state sans basic facilities before 2003, and nobody talked on its share of wheat in central pool and GDP and growth rate. The government under the leadership of CM Chouhan performed such works with sensitive approach towards every needy and poor persons and for development and they were adopted by other states of the country. Quoting schemes of the state, he said that  children of financially weaker background got education and became commercial pilot in Air India by the  support under Higher Education Loan Guarantee scheme He said that several such examples have been seen in Madhya Pradesh. Appreciating the efforts for opening of Shramody Vidyalaya, he said that this is initiative for materialising the dream of children of poor labourer to become collector and SP. Ladli Laxmi Yojana controlled the cases of female foeticidde. Shri extended best wishes for new hights the state achieve under Shri Chouhan's leadership. He also congratulated Municipal Corporation, Bhopal for taking initiatives. 

Mayor Shri Alok Sharma gave welcome address and got released innovative Swachhata Card by the guests. In the program, Madhya Pradesh song was recited, besides grand fireworks show.

Former Chief Minister Shri Babulal Gaur, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, Revenue Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta, MP Shri Alok Sanjar, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Shri Vishnu Khatri and Shri Surendra Nath Singh were present in the programme.
