CM Chouhan Gifts Development Works Costing Rs. 625 Crore to Sagar District

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Banda of Sagar District under the Vikas Yatra today. He dedicated and laid foundation of development works costing Rs. 625 crore for Sagar district during Antodaya Mela. CM Chouhan made an announcement for opening of I.T.I. in Shahgarh. Moreover, he distributed benefits worth Rs. 104 crore 65 lakh of various schemes to the beneficiaries.

CM Chouhan said that enquiry will be conducted in case of irregularities found in distribution of amount under the crop insurance scheme. He further mentioned that 50 percent reservation in teachers’ recruitment and 35 percent reservation in police recruitment will be given to the women. Capital punishment law will be enacted to punish criminals involved in rape cases. Moreover, statues of Rani Awanti Bai and Maharana Pratap will be installed in the Higher Secondary school of Banda. Approval will be given to Laach River Project after the survey. CM Chouhan distributed sanction letters of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Srajan Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana and Gou-Palan Puraskar Yojana on the occasion.

MLA Shri Harvansh Singh Rathore apprised Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with the local problems. Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Shri Gopal Bhargava, Minister for Home and Transport Shri Bhupendra Singh, Minister for Finance Shri Jayant Mallayya, Members of Parliament Shri Laxminarayan Yadav, Shri Prahalad Patel, MLAs Shri Pradeep Lariya, Shri Mahesh Rai, Smt. Parul Sahu, Mayor Shri Abhay Dare and other Public Representatives were present in the programme
