Land Rights Campaign to be conducted from January 26: CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Land Rights Campaign will be conducted in the state from January 26, 2018. Land rights will be given to all the eligible landless persons for dwelling during the campaign. He further mentioned that the pucca houses will be provided to the eligible houseless families of the state till 2022. CM Chouhan made these announcements while addressing the Adiwasi Sammelan, Nasha Mukti Abhiyan evam Shivpanthi Satsang Mela at village Sankota of Tahsil Nasrullah Ganj-District Sehore on Wednesday. Chief Minister’s Wife Smt. Sadhna Singh was also present in the convention.

CM Chouhan informed about Charan Paduka Abhiyan, Poshan Ahaar Vitran and Ganvesh Nirman Yojana in the convention. He informed that work for Poshan Ahaar and Ganvesh Nirman will be carried out through local women self-help groups. Moreover, arrangement will be made to give training to the members of the self –help groups as per the requirement for this work.

Moreover, CM Chouhan stated that addiction is an enemy of valuable human life. Staying away from intoxication is the first condition for the progress of the society. CM Chouhan also administered pledge to the members of the tribal community to quit addiction on the occasion.

Government High School to be Opened in Village Sankota

Informing about the Free Education, Uniform, Smart Phone and Medhavi Chhatra Yojana, CM Chouhan appealed to the Tribal community to send their wards to schools; all the educational arrangements will be made by the state government. New hostel will also be constructed for boys and girls, he added. CM Chouhan made an announcement for starting a Government High School in village Sankota from the next academic session.

Minister for Cottage and Village Industry Shri Antar Singh Arya, Shri Ramesh Barela, Smt. Nirmala Barela and Shri Sunil Barela specially graced the programme. Guru Shri Kalusingh, Mataji Sumli Bai, other Gurus, Chairman of MARKFED Shri Ramakant Bhargava, Chairman Forest Development Corporation Shri Guru Prasad Sharma, Public Representatives and Members of Barela Tribal Community of various districts wre present in large number.

Barela Tribal Wholeheartedly Love CM Shri Chouhan

Shri Omprakash Barela of Barela community is a teacher in Primary School, Bavdikheda. He says that addiction was never considered a vice in the Barela community earlier. Every youth used to consume alcohol. Tremendous change has come during the last 5 years. The youths have taken a resolution to quit alcohol. Shri Omprakash further mentions that the educated persons of the Barela community have come forward to work for this noble cause while taking the resolution to bring reforms in the community. They organize a big programme every year in the guidance of Head of the Community Maharaj Kalubaba and administer pledge to the people to quit alcohol by offering them milk.

Secretary Gram Panchayat Chakaldi, Rakesh Barela says that the de-addiction campaign is being conducted since long time. This campaign was begun from Badwani and Sendhwa. Currently, we hold programmes at places, wherever the members of the Barela community dwell in the state. A big reform has been witnessed in the community. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is an ideal for the youths of the Barela community. He has great affection for us. We also wholeheartedly love him. He encourages us to make the addiction free society and his words have greatly motivated the community.

Shri Sher Singh Barela works to generate awareness amid the members of the Barela community. He is a prerak shikshak by profession and is connected with the Ladkui Primary School. He states that Barela community has a big devotion for Lord Shiva but they were habitual of intoxication. Immense change has come now. He says that visit of CM Chouhan to the Barela community and talk about the de-addiction is a matter of great importance for us. Shri Sunil Barela connected with the programme mentions that the Shivpanthi Satsang is organized every year in the Barela community. It is being organized at village Sankota of Gram Panchayat Rafiqganj the first time. There is a tradition to celebrate Nag Diwali in the Barela community at the harvesting time of Kharif crops. This programme was organized at village Pipaljhola of Bhagwanpura tahsil-district Khargone last year.
